The Journal of the Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities is published once a year. The objectives of the JSSEA are to keep readers abreast with current developments in Egyptology and to serve as a vehicle for the rapid publication of brief articles, book reviews, and other submissions. Articles in the Journal are in English, French and German and, after vol. 35, are accompanied by abstracts in both French and English.

Subscription to the JSSEA is included with student, individual or institutional membership in the SSEA. Associate members do not receive the Journal.

Subscription to the Newsletter of the SSEA is included with student, individual or institutional and associate membership in the SSEA. The Newsletter is published 3 times a year. The SSEA Newsletter is intended as a more popular publication which includes short articles by columnists, correspondents and scholars, as well as news items and reports which keep members abreast of the Society's events and projects. Articles in the Newsletter may be in either French or English.

The current issue of the Newsletter and the Journal as well as a selection of back issues are available by clicking on the Newsletter and Journal links on the left.

The SSEA has also published a series of monographs under the heading of SSEA Studies and SSEA Publications. The latter include James Hoch's Middle Egyptian Grammar, Donald B. Redford's Pharaonic King-Lists, Annals and Day-Books, John L. Foster's Maxims of Ptah-hotep and K. Grzymski's Archaeological Reconnaissance in Upper Nubia. For the availability of these publications, email info@thessea.org.
