Interested in joining the SSEA? Membership entitles you to:
- Be a part of a society which actively supports and promotes scholarly research on ancient Egypt the opportunity to interact with members of the local and international Egyptological community
- Receive the annual Journal of the Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities (JSSEA), a scholarly publication. Note: Associate members do not recieve a printed copy of the JSSEA.
- Receive the SSEA Newsletter, usually published 3 times per year
- Notification of upcoming events sponsored by the SSEA, including our Toronto Lecture Series and Mini-Lecture Series, lectures for the Calgary Chapter and the Quebec Chapter in Montreal, and the Annual SSEA Symposium and Scholars' Colloquium
- Reduced rates for the Annual Symposium and other paid events
- Free admission to special ticketed events (excluding the Annual Symposium), such as the annual Members' Lectures
